3-Day Introduction to Photoshop Seminars

Making great digital captures (we used to call them “pictures”) is only the first step to creating great images. Photoshop editing allows you take all those millions of pixels and adjust them to your vision. But Photoshop (PS) has justifiably earned the reputation for having a very steep learning curve, and let's face it, just being a pain in the butt to corral. But with a little focused direction, you can avoid just wandering through the hidden maze of PS tools, and learn how fine-tune the color, contrast, saturation and sharpness of your images. We take a systematic approach to making both large, global adjustments to your entire image, and then modifying small, important parts of that image using selection and masking tools. In the end, you'll go home with knowledge of the 5% of PS that is fundamental for your everyday imaging workflow, and a template for exploring the other 95%. Ten years ago, I surely wish I'd had a knowledgeable photographer to guide me through this maze of information and keep me from wandering cluelessly down all those dead-end paths. Today, I can give you clear directions toward a path of simple Photoshop utilization and image satisfaction.
